Great zoo
What a great zoo! The enclosures are big and natural but the animals aren't too hidden away that you can't see them. Plenty of water fountains to refill your water bottle. Trams that take you around the zoo make it easy to get around and see what you want to see.
One of the best
Singapore Zoo is one of the best ones I've ever been to, If you have the chance to go, I'd strongly advise to do so, especially if you have children. I was able to see all the animals while in a casual walking pace. Also, the different signs are really well written, they contain so much cool info about the park and the animals.:-)
Good half-day out especially for kids
The Singapore Zoo is a fine half-day outing. It's a good zoo for kids especially, and the tram is a lifesaver in the heat. The conditions of the animals looks good, and there is a reasonable selection of things to look at. It's not a great zoo like some of the really famous ones, but it is good enough for what it does. Some of the best used time is the smaller exhibits and areas. It looked like there were great programs for kids and schools as well.
