Great family day out
This was our first time visiting Universal Studios 05th September. We pre-booked our tickets with Klook. We considered the fast-track tickets, however, we were told to wait and see how busy the park was on the day, as weekdays tend to be less busy, and we were able to buy express tickets on the day. We arrived at 10 am and were through the gates by 10:15 am. We headed straight for the Transformers ride with a wait time of 30 minutes, which was not bad; the Revenge of the Mummy was about 45 minutes. We were lucky to get there when we did, as times went up to 70-90 minutes. As the water park ride and main roller coaster were down for maintenance, we did not bother with the express pass. The express pass only allows one express entry per ride, which is absolutely crazy considering the price you pay. We took water bottles to refill and snacks and just paid for lunch. Lunch was at the diner; we had grilled chicken burgers with chips and drinks, 2x, Very costly and bad quality. The best rides were The Revenge of the Mummy and Transformers, and the worst was The Flyer! Literally lined up for 45 minutes for less than a minute - poor ride. I was disappointed not to see many meet-and-greets; I was hoping to get a photo with Shrek and Fiona. I would advise pre-booking tickets. If it's a weekday, wait to see how busy the park is. From Friday to Sunday, the park is busy, and express passes would be beneficial, but they are costly, and you only get one express entry per ride. So, before purchasing your tickets, enquire if all rides are open. I would get to the gates before opening and get in line ready for opening. If you have young kids, go left and hit all the kiddie rides, and if older, go right and get on the Transformer and Mummy ride before they get busy. Bring water bottles to refill and snacks, as food is expensive. An express pass is good if you want to race through all the rides on a busy day. For Meet & Greets, find out prior to what times they'll be out and about in the park. As we did not do this, we missed out on the main ones. Bring umbrellas, sun hats, sun cream, and ponchos. If we were to return, we would come on a weekday and enjoy the quieter times, ensuring all rides are open.

Amazing if you have planned for one day, take an express ticket so that you will not miss anything. Jussraic park is amazing. Egypt is amazing
The Battlestar Galactica ride was heart-pounding. Our group had the time of our lives!
